Good customer service September 15, 2008
After the third smoothie, it leaked from a broken plastic washer beneath the jar. I emailed KitchenAid and they are sending a new blender jar so my fingers are crossed. I have two other blenders - a Waring classic in the bar and a lesser model KichenAid. This is the quietest and easiest to use and clean of the three hence my 4 stars. It looks great too.

When I think of a blender, a very loud sound comes to my mind. This is to prove not every blender is like that. A very silent and full-featured product I also like to have as a piece of decoration.

I was able to get this blender for a great price as a daily deal and with free shipping. It is a wonderful product and it is powerful. Ice is chopped with ease and quickly too. I also enjoy how easy cleanup is with this blender.Even my teenage son gets it clean, obviously with little effort!

Read the reviews and decided to take a chance on this blender. 1st impression out of the box was that it was really heavy. Set it up and made my 1st smoothie in it. It was quick the ice was pulverized and was really happy with the results. There is a slight machine gear odor the first couple of uses, but that goes away
AN EXCELLENT BLENDER September 1, 2008
As a consumer who has tried MANY different blenders over the years, I have to say that this is by far the best blender that we have ever had. We have "MARGARITA NIGHT" every Friday at our house so a good blender is a must in our household. This KitchenAid is truly everything that it claims to be. And I really love that clean-up is so easy with the one piece design. Of course, I guess to replace the blade, you have to replace the entire jar and I think that it runs around $50.00 but I still would recommend this blender to everyone.
