Bought this iron as it was a Consumer Digest's Best Buy. It is really a great iron, with many features and easy to use. The steam burst is great for collars and creases. A+++
Power steamer December 14, 2008
I never used my old Rowenta because it just didn't get the job done. Now I have no problem. I'm ironing my husband's work shirts and they look pretty darn good. The setting for heat on this B&D are great plus the steam is awesome. I think the steam makes all the difference! I highly recommend this little powerhouse.

I'm what you call an OCD ironer, if that's even a word. I gone through many irons but none seem to hold up as good as this Black & Decker. It has a really nice glide to it and it reaches the correct temperature very quickly. The self-cleaner feature is a plus, but I recommend filtered water when using to avoid sediment build-up. I actually dropped the iron recently and broke it, but quickly repurchased the exact same model even though new models are out.

This is a great iron - I tried the Steam Advantage first and this one is much better. Great steam and the base plate is better than most irons.

After years of irons that didn't heat up enough I finally got one that works well. This iron glides smoother than any I've had and it steams well too. Would recommend to all.
