Consumer Reports was right! August 28, 2006 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
I went to Consumer Reports to find a better iron this time around. In the past I bought what looked decent but they ended up leaking, dripping, etc. CR recommended this iron and other reviews written on this product led me to believe this would be a great purchase - well, it has! I love the iron and the results I'm getting. It's worth the money!
The best is not always the most expensive August 25, 2006 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
This is a really good iron, according to my wife and daughter! We've had quite a few, and some were more expensive, many were less expensive, but none has been as good. A guest in our home recently wanted to touch up some of his clothes and remarked that our B & D iron was the "Cadillac of irons."
A very good iron August 23, 2006 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
This iron heats quickly, steams beautifully, and the digital features are flawless. However, the water needs to be refilled after ironing only a few items. It also does not slide as fluidly as other irons. The stainless steel is not as slick on fabric as the non-sticks are. It is well worth the money though. I checked out all the irons through consumer reports, and the 2020 version rates the highest. They had not reviewed this (2030), but I assume it can only be better.
B&D D2030 Auto-Off Digital Advantage Iron August 22, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Though I just recently purchased the B&D D2030 iron for my wife, already she is quite pleased with its performance. She had replaced her Rowenta Professional which she dearly loved, and is pleased to say the B&D is performing equally as well as the Rowenta at a lower cost.

Great addition to your wardrobe, from the little plastic water filler, to the one touch button for selecting the right temperature this iron is a must have for any one seriously interested in completely their laundry! A must have.
