Very nice! December 15, 2008 This product is nice as I expected. The motor is powerful and I can choice 10 difference speeds depend on for purpose. Cleaning of attachments is also easy. It makes my cooking easer and happier than before.
Total convenience December 15, 2008 Finally I have a gadget that I can pull out, hook up and plug in in about 15 seconds. I find myself using this for EVERYTHING from whizzing up home made dressings, dips, sauces, chopping vegetables, making salsas, butters, and spreads. I LOVE THIS THING! It's powerful, easy to clean and easy to handle. I find myself pulling out my full size food processor very rarely anymore and only for the big jobs. This is a wonderful kitchen tool, with power and convenient way to store in it's hang up bag. It's my right hand now in the kitchen.
My Magic Wand In The Kitchen December 14, 2008 The KitchenAid KHB300WH Hand Blender, White is quickly becoming my favorite kitchen gadget. It's fast and handy, cleans up in a breeze so I can move on to whatever I need it for next, then slip it back in the bag and put it away.
I rate the KitchenAid KHB300WH Hand Blender, White right up there with my KitchenAid KSM150PSER Artisan Series 5-Quart Mixer, Empire Red (except mine is white) at the top of my kitchen essentials list.
If you love to cook and want to save time in the kitchen, this is the perfect multi use blender for you.
strudy, powerful item that is great for small kitchens with limited counter space December 5, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I love kitchen gadgets and I love good quality items. I did a lot of research before I made this purchase a year ago. And I've been really happy with it.
I've bought similar product of another brand but it broke down after a few use. Lucky that I was able to get a full refund and switched to Kitchenaid.
There is very little counter space in my kitchen so it is wonderful that I can enjoy the power of this unit and at the same time don't have to worry about it taking up counter space.
The Kitchenaid Immersion hand blender works great! I've made shrimp bisque with it and it had no problem doing its job right in the pot. It feels great in your hand and it's very solid, sturdy and powerful. The stainless steel part makes clean up so easy. And it won't take up the color or smell of the food.
I always keep some frozen fruit at home so I can make smoothies with milk and yogurt. All you have to do is to put all the ingredients into the beaker and blend it. Takes less than 3 minutes to make a healthy drink and less than 3 minutes to wash up and put the tool away.
The mini chopper is great too! I've used it for chopping garlic (I chop a lot of garlic and keep them in the freezer, not the best gourmet method but it's just handy), making thick marinade for Thai satay, grind my own roasted almond flour for baking...etc. It's perfect for small jobs.
As for the whisk, I don't use it that often but I did find it useful. It takes no time to whip up cream and the beaker is small enough that you can fit it right in the fridge without any problem. Since I haven't tried making cake batter with it I can't comment on that but I'm not sure how well it will work with thicker batter as the whisk does not seem to be really strong. (I use a stand mixer, which took up almost 1/3 of my counter space, for these bigger projects)
I yet have to figure out how to use the blender to create colorful foam out of juices to decorate my dishes like famous chef jose andres...etc. do. But if you see this item at the iron chef stadium it'd better be a pretty good product isn't it?
Overall I think this product is really the best you can get. It is powerful, sturdy, good looking and feels good in your hand. But don't forget it is a blender, not a mixer. The chopper and whisk are additionals but not the original purposes of this gadget. It is best to choose what to buy based on your needs.
Great Blender! November 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this mainly for an immersion blender, but for the Thanksgiving weekend, I took it to our daughter's cabin in northern Wisconsin, where we celebrate with our family. I used the blender attachments for chopping turkey gizzards for the stuffing and then I used the whipping attachment to whip cream. The appliance worked better than I expected such a small appliance should. Lots of power and the variable speeds were great!
